Vergilius, Gargilius and Ogulnius. AR Denarius, 86 BC. Obv. Head of Apollo right, wearing oak-wreath; below, thunderbolt. Rev. Jupiter in quadriga right, holding reins and hurling thunderbolt. Cr. 350A/2. 3.97 g. 17.50 mm. Sound metal and full weight. Brilliant and lightly toned, with iridescent hues. Slightly off centre. Good VF/About EF.
