Anonymous. AE Bronze, c. 234-231 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right; at centre, countermark (dot within trianular incuse). Rev. Bridled horse prancing left; below, ROMA. Cr. 26/3; HN Italy 308. 3.04 g. 15.50 mm. A nice rare countermarked example. Toned orichalcum surfaces, with turquoise spots. VF.
