Julia Mamaea (died 235 AD). AR Denarius. Struck under Severus Alexander, 226 AD. Obv. IVLIA MAMAEA AVG. Draped bust right, wearing stephane. Rev. Vesta, veiled, standing left, holding palladium and sceptre. RIC IV (Sev. Alex.) 360; C. 81. 2.70 g. 19.00 mm. sharply struck, toned. Slight minting crack on reverse. Good VF.
