Ti. Claudius Ti. f. Ap. n. Nero. Fourrée Denarius serratus, 79 BC. Obv. Draped bust of Diana right, bow and quiver on shoulder. Rev. Victory in prancing biga right, holding palm-branch and reins in left hand and wreath in right. Cr. 383/1; B. 6. 3.39 g. 18.50 mm. The low weight and the minor metal flaws at 12 h on obverse suggest that this Denarius is fourée. Well centred, brilliant and superb. Prettily toned, with light iridescent hues. EF.
